My favorite entry here is Nalo Hopkinson’s “The Most Strongest Obeah Woman of the World”, which involves a young girl seeking vengeance on a sea creature that killed her family. The twist is that the eponymous strongest-obeah-woman is the creature: a sort of cephalopod that absorbs knowledge by eating the other members of its species.

Other memorable stories:

The audio narrators (I like that there was a different one for each story) did a great job, and most of the stories were solid, but I did find my attention drifting a lot.
