When I went to buy this, the bookshop’s cashier (who had read it) described it as “weird”. I second that compliment.
Though this book may only provide a few minutes’ diversion, and will do absolutely nothing to fill the Calvin-and-Hobbes-shaped hole in your heart, I appreciate its uncanny art and its clever final line.
