Review of Adrian Tchaikovsky’s book Alien Clay

Tchaikovsky continues to deliver. Two interesting things in this novel:

• The alien biology, where creatures are formed on an ad-hoc basis from smaller creatures just sort of glomming onto each other
• The revolutionaries’ chronic inability to fully trust each other, and how much more effective they can be when they become transparent to one another
